Water Repellent - Italian woven fabric, where every fiber is treated with Lot'o'dry Patent Durable Water Repellent (DWR) to reduce water absorption. This lightweight hydrophobic fabric has an extremely low drag coefficient that allows you to surf the water faster.

Maximize Performance - Most triathlon racing suits are constructed from hydrophilic textiles, meaning they love water. Hydrophilic textile wicks moisture away from the skin to keep you cool and dry on the bike and run. The fabric is indeed treated in the early stages of the weaving process in such a way that every single fiber receives the Lot'o'dry DWR. This leads you to a very fast fabric in water, a long-lasting DWR performance (just to give you an idea, after 40 washes you still have the maximum of the performance) and a good breathability because it is not just a coating applied to the surface of the fabric, blocking sweat, yet it is applied to each individual filament. Proven by competitive and Olympic swimmers, fabric is faster than skin. Take time off for your next swim without a wetsuit.

MAZIMIZE MOBILITY - Legally, USAT and WTC (IRONMAN) rules allow the seaskin to go over the shoulders, but it must stay above the elbow. We've designed the Zoot ULTRA seaskin to be sleeveless so as not to activate your natural swimming stroke and provide maximum shoulder mobility. Through our testing, the benefit of wearing compressed hydrophobic textiles on the shoulders does not outweigh the benefits of increased shoulder mobility that a sleeveless seaskin can provide. If you are wearing a Zoot sleeved racing suit under your sea skin, we recommend wearing the sleeves as it will not hinder your performance and improve your T1 transition time.

Improved Body Position - Compression is a key component in allowing the sea skin to work properly. Zoot's ULTRA seaskin is designed to be compressed to support muscles and improve body position in the water. Zoot's innovative fabric contains 36% elastane for flexibility in expanding the lungs and exceptional breathability.

QUICK TRANSMISSION - Easy on/off lacing attached to the highest quality YKK #3 auto-lock zipper. The zipper is designed to be a reverse coil for low drag with a soft chalk fabric zipper guard to prevent chafing.

No sewing construction - supersonic bonded seams create a smooth surface to reduce drag and maximize speed. Advanced no-sew construction also reduces chafing and provides more flexibility and comfort.
